Title
Norway: Budgetary discipline vital.
Abstract
The article provides an economic outlook in Norway for 2006-2007. Economic growth is expected to slow towards potential in 2006 and ease further in 2007 in response to the withdrawal of monetary stimulus. The revised 2006 budget from the newly elected government implies a stabilization of the non-oil structural deficit as a share of mainland gross domestic product.
