Abstract
The article provides an economic outlook in the U.S. for 2006-2007. Economic output has increased, underpinned by productivity growth, buoyant house prices, and fiscal and monetary stimulus. The development suggests that the recovery will remain despite damaging hurricanes and large increase in oil prices.
