- Abstract
Whole genome CpG DNA methylation profiling has proven to be a powerful tool in tumor classification, including those arising in the central nervous system (CNS) [[2]]. Many primary CNS tumors have characteristic driver mutations that occur in virtually 100% of tumor cells, and usually exist in a heterozygous state where only one allele is mutated, and the other allele is retained.
