- Abstract
This study explores the effectiveness of the Grammarly tool in improving English language writing for first-year high school students and their attitudes toward it. To achieve the objectives of this study, the researcher used the quasi-experimental approach with one group. An electronic pre-test and a post-test were prepared to measure their English writing skill, and a questionnaire about their attitudes toward Grammarly. Data collection consisted of two axes that were distributed electronically to the study sample, whose number reached (13) students. The researcher conducted the study through the Zoom platform for five weeks at an average of 1.5 hours a day, except on weekends. The results showed the effectiveness of the Grammarly tool in improving English writing skills among first-year secondary school students, and the questionnaire also indicated that students’ attitudes were positive toward the Grammarly tool. The collected data were analyzed by (SPSS) which stands for Statistical Package for Social Sciences.
