- Abstract
The article discusses the Buddhist view of other religions based on the conservative nature of Theravada Buddhism. It says that for Buddhadasa, Buddhism and other religious in India like Jainism and Hinduism teach Dharma, which is a term used in a theistic sense. According to the author, Muslims and Buddhists have different identities. The objectives of Buddhadasa in his life as a Buddhist monk and his simplistic view on the universal spirit of religion in the world are also discussed.
