- Abstract
The article discusses research on the non-apoptopic cell death. It references the study "Control of non-apoptotic developmental cell death in Caenorhabditis elegans by a polyglutaminerepeat protein," by E. S. Blum and colleagues in the 2012 issue of the journal "Science." It tells the study shows pqn-41 gene, which encodes the protein containing Glu-rich domains, as the requirement for linker cell death in Caenorhabditis elegans. It adds that the pqn-41 gene affects the linker cell survival.
