- Abstract
The article discusses a study regarding a 70-year-old female who was referred to a dentist office because of pain in her mouth near an open wound. It mentions that the patient has accumulated bisphosphonates osteonecrosis (BON) from the treatment of her osteoporosis and rheumatoid arthritis through oral bisphosphonates alendronate. It was treated by restorative and oral surgery before the bisphosphonates therapy. Questions and answers regarding the patient's diagnosis and treatment is provided.
