- Abstract
Combining the in-depth interviews with 22 elementary and secondary school teachers with their weblogs, an analysis has been made on the strategies they adopt to regulate their emotion, it draw a conclusion that they commonly use the strategies of self-regulation and other-assisting regulation to adjust their emotion. The strategies of self-regulation they adopt successively are forbearance, attention distracting, expression suppressing, cognitive reappraisal, problem solving and mindfulness meditation, however, the strategy of other-assisting regulation they adopt mainly lies in problem solving. Enhancing teachers' emotional intellengence, guiding teachers to choose and use the appropriate emotion regulation strategies and constructing the positive emotional geography can help to reduce teachers' emotional problems, promote the quality of teaching and learning, and achieve their professional identity and happiness and professional development.
