- Abstract
The article focuses on the U.S. Supreme Court Report for 2006-2007 surrounding to the various issues in the country. The Supreme Court decision on the standing issue frustrated the litigants and citizens on their attempt to define their rights. Yale law professor Judith Resnick calls it "the year they closed the courts." Many of the cases that were decided leaving a 5-4 splits particularly on the partial birth abortion ban Act of 2003 (Act). This scenario can be characterized as the conservative victory at the court.
