- Abstract
The present study examines the influence of locus of control, academic engagement and self-efficacy on the academic resilience among the school children. Sample included 155(81 females & 74 males) high school students from Malabar, Kerala, India. The measures used for the study were academic resilience scale, locus of control scale, general self-efficacy scale, and academic engagement scale. Correlation analysis indicated a correlation between academic resilience and self-efficacy. Independent sample t test results showed a significance difference between male and female for academic resilience. However, there was no significant difference among the male and females for self-efficacy, academic engagement and locus of control.
