- Abstract
The article presents Dr. Murray Sidman's remarks as discussant for the Symposium on Conceptual Issues in Behaviorism presented during the convention of the American Psychological Association in Washington D.C. in September 1976. He offers three general reflections including for science to devote effort to self criticism and questioning of its own assumptions, concepts and methods, specify behavioral history to explain current behavior and that reinforcement never establishes stimulus control.
