- Title
Examination of factors potentially affecting riparian bird assemblages in a tropical Queensland savanna.

- Abstract
The article presents a study which analyzed the factors potentially affecting riparian bird assemblages in a tropical savanna in Queensland. Relationship between bird data and environmental variables such as riparian width, projective foliage cover, percent Rubber vine cover and percent ground cover, were tested by correlation on non-metric multidimensional scaling axes and site summary statistics. The differences among bird assemblages in unfenced, close and distant sites imply that the conservation value of riparian zones in the study area is influenced by the distance at which these sites are fenced.
