- Abstract
The article mentions a survey that was conducted by the American International College (AIC) concerning the higher-education decisions of high school students. Of 46 factors related to decisions about which college to attend, the students selected the academic reputation of a department that offers a student's major as the most important. This is followed by the college's overall academic reputation and the availability of financial aid or scholarships.
