- Abstract
The article discusses the emerging field of thermal photonics and its potential applications in renewable energy research. It highlights the latest developments in thermal photonics, including nanophotonic control of thermal radiation, radiative cooling materials and structures, self-adaptive and dynamic thermal emission control, directional and broadband thermal emission, and polarization tuning. The article also mentions the challenges and limitations in promoting radiative cooling from the laboratory to practical applications.
