- Abstract
The present study analyzes the self-regulation advertising systems in Spain, since the joint complaints presented between the years 2010 and 2015 in the frame procedure in which the Autocontrol statute establish for its tramitation. The results show some weakeness of the system that challenges the independence and the effectiveness model. The prominence that consumer associations have, promoting complaints despite of the scarce porcentages of favourable resolutions that they obtain, the strength position that multinationals pretend to take pleassure being a complaint object, and the particular judgement which with Autocontrol records the favourable resolutions to the complainers, are some of the main findings of the study.
