- Abstract
The article reports on the economic dispute between the Democratic Republic of Congo and Angola due to disagreements on diamond-digging, oils, and electric power. Deputy Foreign Affairs Minister of Angola George Chicoty notes that illegal immigrants were removed in the expulsions made including Bana Lunda, a Congo team who worked in the diamond fields of Angola during the civil war. It further notes that the United Nations (UN) made an emergency response to help the expelled Angolans.
