- Abstract
The airborne in-situ meteorological measurements are very important to examine and model the microphysical processes in the atmosphere. In our work we show the atmospheric airborne measurement of greenhouse gases, O3, NO2 and CO on the board of FAAM BAe-146 aircraft during SONATA project in August of 2011. We present the steps of the preflight procedures, the BAe-146 aircraft itself, the flight path and we give a meteorological overview for the day of flight. Since the measured data set are not yet processed completely we show some preliminary results in connection with spatial and temporal distribution of O3 and NO2 concentration over Italy and Adriatic See
