- Abstract
In order for cities and municipalities to be able to manage the satisfaction of users of their services, they must permanently conduct research in which they will determine the forms, degrees and characteristics of satisfied and dissatisfied users of services. This research was conducted on two quota-selected representative samples of Karlovac County of 80 respondents (n = 80) citizens and representatives of the economy 120 respondents (n = 120). The survey was conducted directly through specially constructed questionnaires in September 2019 and March 2020. Respondents rate their satisfaction with the services provided to them in the first survey, usually with a medium score (41%). The perception of professional and fast service increased from 55% (first survey) to 63% (second survey) It is more pleasant to meet employees (cheerful smile, greeting, 27% first survey, 42% second survey) problem solving (26% first compared to 47% in the second survey) This survey sends a clear message that municipalities and cities are generators of entrepreneurship and economic development If they learn to create and systematically monitor the satisfaction of citizens and entrepreneurs, they will become attractive to new investors and attractive destinations for new residents.
