- Abstract
In this paper, the transient and steady state performance improvement of an indirect vector controlled cage induction generator is presented. Three different types of controllers, namely P-I, self tuned fuzzy and a hybrid controller are designed and simulated, for an application in wind turbine driven line connected induction generator. The proposed hybrid controller is a good combination of P-I and self tuned fuzzy controller which retains the advantages of both and eliminates the demerits. It is verified that the proposed hybrid controller improves the performance.
