- Abstract
The article analyzes the film "Star Wars: The Force Awakens." Particular focus is given to the aspects of patriarchal anxiety and fragility of masculinity among White men. The author discusses the analysis of the film's racial and gender politics in the context of psychoanalytics, the exploration of the association between gender, race, and Oedipal dynamic among the characters, and the reflection of fragility of white men's masculinity in the character of Kylo Ren.
