- Abstract
Over the last two centuries the fundamental rights of Americans has been protected through the security of the Bill of Rights and a Democratic system of government that allows constituents to defends their rights when necessary. This paper looks at the fundamental rights of the Ninth Amendment. Both the explicit and implicit rights of the amdendment are discussed, as well as, how those rights affect people, politics, and legislation today.
