- Abstract
The article presents a study that examines the hypothesis on the independence of Greenland White-fronted Geese Anser albifrons flavirostris' winter dispersal rates and the dependence of immigration on age and the number of juveniles. It states that Geese were captured-mark-recapture at Wexford Slobs, Ireland and the software Mark was used to observe the wintering of the birds. Results showed that emigration varies with age and that the number of juveniles affects the probability of migration.
