- Abstract
The article offers information on infrared imaging of corroded oriental manuscripts with digital camera. It describes the infrared imaging of Turkish manuscript in the 16th century, with the use of standard digital camera, with basic infrared filter. It is cited that the French National Library has the collection of some oriental manuscripts from the 15th until 19th century. It is mentioned that the degraded documents at the National Library of France will be covered by a conservation program. It is said that the original text is unreadable because the darkening of the iron induced paper can be visible.
