The article discusses, analyzes, and presents a letter written by French-Canadian journalist and radio personality Louis Francoeur on September 7, 1940 and addressed to French General Charles de Gaulle at the War Office in London, England. According to the author, Francoeur expresses his concerns regarding the lack of organization among members of the Free France movement in Canada during the summer of 1940. The author also offers background information on the journalist and notes his association with the Free France movement and his strategic position enabling him to influence public opinion, particularly during his radio show "La situation ce soir."
