- Abstract
The article discusses a research study on producing and regulating extracellular proteases from entromopathogenic fungus Metarhizium anispliae with the Diamondback Moth Cuticle present. Obtained for the study were fourth instar P. xylostella larvae for normal plant growth and then cuticle samples of P. xylostella larvae were homogenized then saturated with phenylthiourea for analysis. Fungal stains M. anisopliae were in tubes with Sabouraud's dextrose agar (SDA) then cultured with potato dextose sugar (PDA). Results showed different sources of carbon subtilisin (Pr1) activity of M. anisopliae in all media testing while different carbon sources on trypsin like (Pr2) protease activity of M. anisopliae produced biomass in media testing.
