Chapter 9: Can Judaism Flourish in a Rural Community?
- Abstract
The article focuses on the individuals and their views on the Judaism practices in Walla Walla, Washington. Mixed emotions are expressed which include satisfaction and dissatisfaction of the services, and others also expressed that they do not have much of any choice. However, it is stated that even with intermarriages of Jewish and non-Jewish individuals, the non-Jewish does not react to the practices of the other. Moreover, it notes the points of the synagogue's possibility of continuing its services in the future.
