The article presents several photographs of Jewish people showing their activities in the U.S., including Samuel S. Hyams, secretary of the First Hebrew Benevolent Society in the 1850s, the election card used by August Helbing for the election of November 8, 1892, and Rabbi Alexander Rosenspitz in the 1880s, spiritual leader of Congregation of Beth Israel in Portland, Oregon.
