- Abstract
After a thorough literature search for PK models of patients admitted in an intensive care unit (ICU), the most appropriate models were included for Bayesian estimations. Individualised dosing of antibiotics in ICU patients: timing, target and model selection matter. In setup, the DOLPHIN trial simulated the current practises of therapeutic drug monitoring (TDM)-guided dosing, which is applying TDM without patient selection, 24-36 h after the initiation of antibiotic therapy.
