- Abstract
The article describes the case of a 40-year-old man who underwent early band migration that developed into intraabdominal infection treated by natural orifice translumenal endoscopic surgery. The patient complained of epigrastric pain and fever and minimal gastric fundus erosion was revealed in gastroscopy. Particular focus is given to the results of an upper endoscopy and abdominal computed tomography. Complications such as port infection and hemorrhage may result from band migration.
