- Authors

- Abstract
Focuses on the significance of specific antagonists of responses to arginine-vasopressin (AVP) as powerful pharmacological tools for exploring the physiological importance of the actions of endogenous AVP. Potential of AVP-antagonists to become useful therapeutic agents, particularly for controlling water retention due to excessive or inappropriate secretion of the antidiuretic hormone; Observation of the inefficacy of V2-antagonist in humans; Conduct of further research of antagonists for the treatment of dilutional hyponatremias.
