- Abstract
The article focuses on the Pythium deliense, a pathogen that affects black pepper vines in India. It is noted that black pepper vines in several areas of Kerala and Karnataka in India, turned yellow and later were found drying up and an analysis of the affected plants resulted in the isolation of a Pythium sp. It mentions that this was the first report of P. deliense from the rhizosphere and roots of black pepper from India.
