- Title
Nantero speeds carbon nanotubes to market.
- Abstract
The article reports on the belief of inventors at Nantero that carbon nanotubes for use in semiconductors have come onto the market years earlier than originally expected. Nanotubes are said to hold great promise for the future of semiconductors, but experts had predicted it would take at least 10 years before they became a viable material. Jim Lamb, director of corporate business development at Brewer Science said the breakthrough carbon nanotube coating opens up a new realm of possible avenues of emerging technology. He added that we will see the viability of carbon nanotubes being used to form thermal conductive coatings, touch screen displays, chemical/biological sensors and carbon-based electronics.
