- Abstract
The article presents a study which examines citizen framing of Congresswoman Wendy Davis when she ran for governor in the 2014 Texas gubernatorial election on Twitter, Pinterest and Tumblr. It examines the frames which emerged on these social media sites throughout Davis's campaign and how users of each platform differ in their framing of her. It also explores the traditional gender archetypes that appear in social media representations of Davis.
