- Abstract
The article presents a study on the stimulation of the growth of exogenously administered Lactobacillus plantarum No.14 (LP14) by inulin-type fructans in the gastrointestinal tract of the mouse. The study examined the effects of the inulin-type fructans known as fructo-oligosaccharide (FOS). Moreover, the LP14 that was localized to the luminal contents has been showed by histological analysis following fluorescein-stained LP14 administration.
