- Abstract
The article presents a study on the isolation of taxusecone, a taxane from the Taxus cuspidata needles. Taxusecone was obtained as an amorphous solid by chromatography and preparative high performance liquid chromatography (HPLC). It notes that the taxane exhibits the signal pattern of diterpenoids. Information on the characteristics and structure of the taxusecone is offered. It states that taxusecone does not exhibit a potential in cytotoxicity screening against breast cancer cell line.
