- Abstract
The article discusses the legal requirements in the U.S. towards cultural property under the 1954 Hague Convention before and during the armed conflict. It examines the military jurisdiction in the U.S. during military occupation and offers a definition of occupation. It analyzes the possible duty for the protection of cultural property during occupation and conflicts.
