- Abstract
The article presents a case study from the University of Würzburg in Germany regarding a new application of blended learning, defined as the combination of face-to-face instruction, e-learning, and high technological tools to teach information literacy. The example of the CaseTrain blended learning system, developed at the university and employed in its library system since 2008, is presented and evaluated.
