- Abstract
The article focuses on the development of a high-performance liquid chromatographic method that will be used to measure nicotinamide (Nam), nicotinamide N-oxide, N1- methyl-2-pyridone-5-carboxamide, and N1-methyl-4-pyridone-3-carboxamide in mice urine. Topics discussed include the study methodology used in extracting the sum of Nam and its catabolites (SUM) from the urine, the limits of the methodology and the chromatogram of reference Nam N-oxide.
