- Abstract
The article discusses differences in the substrate specificities and active site structure of two-α-L-fucosidases enzymes present in Bacteroides thetaiotaomicron. It reports that α-L-fucosidases enzyme belongs to hydrolase family and is divided into two subfamilies based on phylogenetic clustering. It mentions that differences in structure of the enzyme were examined through analysis of various substrates at fixed concentration.
