The article reports on the availability of energy bars and their increasing number of variants at every convenience store in the market. These bars boast of their ability to enhance performance. In today's eat-and-run society, an energy bar is suitable for many hungry athletes who seek nutritious alternative to a missed meal or vending machine snacks. The bars have a long shelf life, so it can be stocked in desk drawer or cupboard for a steady supply. These bars also facilitate pre-exercise eating.
