An eagerly anticipated collection, A Companion to Latin American Philosophy (Blackwell), marks a significant milestone for the study of the history of philosophy in Latin America and, moreover, for the reception and perception of Latin American philosophy. The present note analyses and evaluates the strengths and limitations of this collection.
