- Abstract
The article discusses the Criminal Justice-Economic Crime Investigation undergraduate major at Utica College in New York, launched in 1987. The program curriculum is presented, including course requirements in the two study concentrations in financial investigation and computer security. Also discussed are two graduate degree programs launched subsequently: a master of science in economic crime management and a master of business administration in economic crime and fraud management. The second part of the article compares the Utica College economic crime curricula to the model curriculum in forensic and fraud accounting developed at West Virginia University in 2004.
