Nomifensine Treatment of Bulimia: Results of an Open Trial.

- Abstract
Nine bulimic women were treated on an open clinical basis with nomifensine. Clinically significant improvement occurred in seven, and five obtained complete remission. Coexisting depression improved in the majority. Results in this small trial were statistically significant. The role of antidepressants in the treatment of bulimia is discussed, along with implications/or Future research.
