The article presents a case study of a nine-year-old Beagle dog with thyroid carcinoma and paraneoplastic hypercalcemia. The dog referred to the Perth Veterinary Oncology in Perth, Ontario and was treated with thyroidectomy and was put on supplementation with calcium carbonate and calcitriol. It died due renal failure.
