- Abstract
The article contains two book reviews. The first book review discusses the work "Kallirhoe" by Chariton of Aphrodisias, which is described as extensive and indispensable for anyone interested in ancient Greek novels. The second book review deals with the work "Trait 30 (III, 8). Sur la nature, la contemplation et l'Un" by Plotinus, which is considered one of Plotinus' most characteristic and perfect works. The article describes the content of the work and highlights Plotinus' complex philosophical ideas. Furthermore, the author Emanuele Castelli examines the development of titles in Greek literature and notes that epic and lyrical works did not require titles due to their oral performance, while titles were first used in dramatic poetry. In prose, titles were mainly used in written works. The text provides a detailed and comprehensive analysis of the topic and is considered an important reference for ancient researchers.
