- Abstract
Kafka is known for his exploration of the great myths. The myth of Babel, transposed into Les armes de la ville, a kind of fable, exemplifies this tendency. Kafka's writing, especially in this brief text, deserves to be referred to as "pop literature". In fact the solution proposed in Les armes de la ville renews itself in a few video clips, adapted to the words of some songs of Mylène Farmer and the Rolling Stones. But this common inspiration is less fascinating than the analogy of the principles of composition which closely enforce the scripts of the videos, Kafka's writings and the songs as well.
