- Abstract
The article presents a study which investigates the development of anti-Factor VIII immune response inhibitors in the context of acute local bleeding in severe haemophilia A mice. The study involves the development of haemarthrosis-induced arthropathy validated by measuring the outer diameter of the knees, days after knee injury. The anti-FVIII IgG in serum was detected by ELISA. The study revealed that haemarthrosis and arthropathy do not favour the development of Factor VIII.
