- Title
Extinction and rediscovery: where the wild things are.
- Authors
Crowley, Brooke Erin
- Abstract
In this article the author discusses the study conducted by D. O. Fisher on the relationship between rediscovery and the detectability of extinction in mammals. The author believes that Fisher's precise forecast on the decline trajectories and species rediscovery in three-dimensional space are new. Also, the author notes that the results of the study adds to the perception of the dynamics of species rediscoveries, considering their historical geographical and elevational ranges.
