Earthquake.
- Abstract
The article reports that an 8.0 earthquake rocked the southwestern province of Sichuan Sheng, China May 12, 2008. According to Xinhua News Agency, more than 69, 000 deaths had occurred and the Chinese government is now occupied with rebuilding devastated villages to cities and dealing with the aftereffects of the quake. Meanwhile, the US-China Business Council (USCBC) member companies had donated at least $85million in cash and in-kind donation as early part of June 2008 and for further information on how to help the victims of the tragedy, they log on to www.uschina.org.
