Author Harold Bloom remarked on the works of Lovecraft as important works of myth, some considered Lovecraft's works as brutal, grim, psychological analysis. Author Colin Wilson in his book "The Strength to Dream", compares the works of Lovercraft with a psychotic killer, making up sadist sexual fantasies.
